Guest co-host Jay Perry (Kiss Me Kate/Motown) joins West End Frame Editor, Andrew Tomlins, to talk about the latest goings on in theatreland!

In this episode of the podcast, Andrew & Jay discuss Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie & Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, plus the latest news about Sister Act & The Little Mermaid as well as what’s going on across the pond on Broadway.

Jay also talks about rehearsals for Kiss Me Kate at the Watermill Theatre and his time starring as Berry Gordy in the West End production of Motown The Musical. He also discusses making his professional debut as a child in Whistle Down The Wind and being a member of S Club Juniors.

Jay Perry The West End Frame ShowJay is currently in rehearsals to star as Bill Calhoun in Kiss Me, Kate at the Watermill Theatre in Newbury.

He most recently starred as Berry Gordy in the West End production of Motown The Musical, a role he previously understudied.

Jay made his West End debut as a child, playing Curly in Whistle Down The Wind. He was also a member of S Club Juniors.

His theatre credits also include: Drifter in Beautiful (Aldwych), Gilbert in Hairspray (Gordon Craig) and Rufus/1st Cover Curtis in Save The Last Dance For Me (UK tour).
