Interview: Lizzie Bea, star of Hairspray & Becoming Nancy

Lizzie has had a whirlwind year; whilst playing Pat in the UK tour of Kinky Boots she took two hiatus’ from the show to star as Abigail Henson in the final New York workshop of new musical Becoming Nancy, followed by its world premiere at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.

She also found time to audition for the 2020 West End revival of Hairspray at the London Coliseum and landed the role of Tracy Turnblad which she will play alongside Michael Ball who is reprising his celebrated performance as Edna.
