Interview: Sharon Sexton, Sloane in Bat Out Of Hell

Sharon is currently starring as Sloane in the UK tour of Bat Out Of Hell, having created the role in the original production.

Sharon originally opened Bat Out Of Hell – which features Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf’s greatest hits – in Manchester, with the show  transferring to the London Coliseum and then the Dominion Theatre. She also starred in the musical’s run in Canada.

Just a few of Sharon’s theatre credits include playing Donna in the UK & international tour of Mamma Mia! as well as the West End productions of Billy Elliot and The Commitments

Alongside theatre work, Sharon is well known for her cabarets; her show with Rob Fowler has won awards whilst she also has an acclaimed one woman show based on the life of Liza Minnelli.

Sharon recorded this chat in her dressing room at the Manchester Opera House during tech rehearsals.
