Interview: Meaghan Martin, Julie in Smoke at the Southwark Playhouse

Posted by

Meaghan Martin is currently starring in Smoke by Kim Davies at the Southwark Playhouse.

A modern adaptation of Miss Julie, Smoke asks audiences to question our pre-conceived conceptions around BDSM communities. With a series of Q&As involving sex positive activists, and BDSM advocates, this production aims to tackle notable prejudices such as kink shaming.

Júlia Levai and Polina Kalinina co-direct the production in which Meaghan stars opposite her real life partner, actor Oli Higginson.
