Matthew is currently the Standby for Jesus in the West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar, having previously understudied the role at the Barbican. His further theatre credits include Just For One Day, Kinky Boots, Violet, Oklahoma!, Murder Ballad and Les Miserables.
Matthew is also a musical theatre composer. His original musical Unbound was performed at Birmingham Hippodrome as part of BYMT’s 20th Anniversary Season before being presented in concert at Hoxton Hall. Matthew released an album of his original music “Whatever Happens Next” and he was the Sketch Music Composer for the debut series of Saturday Night Live UK. He also posts lots of stagey content on Instagram and TikTok.
Matthew is currently preparing to debut Musical Theatre House Party which is a new cabaret series at The Other Palace where two West End stars perform a set list they don’t know in advance.
